Grey water recycling system

Grey water refers to household waste water generated from wash basin, shower, ablution and washing machine and does not include any feces. Urbanization, population explosion, climate change and global fresh water scarcity has resulted in urgency to treat wastewater and re-use. Greywater recycling is in high demand because of less pollutant load and comparatively easy to treat. This results in saving of huge quantity of fresh water which would be otherwise used for irrigation and landscaping. Grey water treatment process includes physio-chemical and biological procedures. It must be properly treated to remove suspended particles, oil and grease, turbidity, bacteria, and other contaminants. Greywater system finds considerable opportunities at Buildings, villas, mosques, schools, shopping malls, community centers, etc. The treated greywater is highly beneficial for usage in irrigation, landscaping and toilet flushing.
